Teaching Personnel are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Ashton-under-Lyne. Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND or in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Candidates may be required to undertake a valid enhanced DBS check.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.

• Be calm, patient, nurturing and understanding.

• Be confident in building positive and trusting relationships with children.

• Be adaptable and able to respond effectively to individual needs.

• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.

• Have previous experience working with SEND or in a primary school setting (desirable, but not essential).

Full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
