Job summary

Halstow Primary School invites applications for a SENCO with responsibility for our School-based Resource Provision. You will lead SEND across the school and drive inclusive practice to secure strong outcomes for pupils with additional needs.

Working within the Compass EKO Trust, you will oversee EHCPs, annual reviews and liaise with families and external agencies while supporting staff development in SEND.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading SEND and EHCP processes.
• Ability to lead a School-based Resource Provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND across the school.
• Lead and manage the Resource Provision development.
• Ensure high-quality SEND support and outcomes.
• Champion inclusive practice and adaptive teaching.
• Collaborate with parents, external agencies and Local Authority.
• Lead annual reviews and transition planning.
• Coach teachers and staff to develop SEND expertise.
• Analyze pupil progress to drive improvement.
