Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated SENCO for an outstanding independent school in Chelmsford, Essex. You will lead SEND provision for students with EHCPs and work to maintain OFSTED-excellent standards.

The role involves identifying needs, developing support plans, training staff, and collaborating with parents and external agencies to ensure all students reach their potential. November 2026 start with a competitive salary and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Recognised SENCO qualification.
• Experience of working with students with SEND including EHCPs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and assess the needs of students with SEND, including those with EHCPs.
• Develop and oversee individualised support plans, including provision of support for EHCP students.
• Provide support and guidance to teaching staff and ensure they are trained to meet the needs of students with SENCO, including those with EHCPs.
• Work collaboratively with parents, external agencies and local authorities to ensure appropriate support for students with EHCPs.
