We are seeking a committed and experienced SENCo to join a high-performing secondary school in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and enhance the provision for students with special educational needs within a school committed to excellence.

Your Role as SENCo:
• Lead and manage the SEN department, ensuring that students with SEN receive high-quality provision.
• Oversee the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure appropriate differentiation in lessons.
• Manage the budget for SEN resources and ensure the department is well-equipped.
• Act as a point of contact for parents and outside agencies regarding SEN provision.

• A qualified SENCo with a track record of leading successful SEN provision.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective SEN strategies and interventions.
• A commitment to ensuring all students, regardless of need, have access to a high-quality education.
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
