Job Title: SENCO (Maternity Cover) – Outstanding All-Girls Faith School
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term (1 year – maternity cover)
Salary: Dependent on experience + SEN Allowance

Now they’re looking for a passionate, proactive SENCO to step in for a maternity cover from September 2025. If you're ready to lead inclusion with empathy and purpose, this could be your next meaningful move.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the SEND provision across the school
Leading and developing inclusive teaching practices and interventions
Working closely with students, families, and external agencies
Supporting teaching staff with tailored strategies and training
Maintaining and updating EHCPs and access arrangements
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds the NASENCO qualification (or is working towards it)
Has a deep understanding of SEND, inclusion, and whole-school strategy
Brings clarity, warmth, and strong communication to everything they do
Thrives in a team, but can lead with confidence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
