Horizon Care Ltd is recruiting a SENCO for our Draycott Moor SEN School in Stoke. Draycott Moor College is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 7-18 with SEND including SEMH.

Based in Draycott in the Moors, the school is undergoing refurbishment due for completion December 2026. You will work with senior leaders to drive high-quality teaching and outcomes for pupils.

Qualifications

• Must hold a SENCO qualification or be close to completing.
• Must have a QTS status.
• Make a valuable contribution to the offering that young people receive at the school as part of high-quality teaching and learning.
• Have experience working effectively with local authorities.
• Commitment to SEND and SEMH education and safeguarding.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Headteachers and the education team to improve outcomes for pupils.

We are recruiting for a SENCO for our amazing SEN School based in Draycott Moor, Stoke.

Draycott Moor College is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls aged 7-18.

Based in the small Staffordshire village of Draycott in the Moors, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Needs.

Currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment that’ll renovate and expand our facilities. The refurbishment project is expected to be completed by December 2026.

At Horizon Care and Education, our SENCOs are supported by Headteachers, Operational Directors and the Managing Director of Education Services. This structure of support allows Senior Leadership Teams to focus on and deliver the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
