Job summary

Dorset Studio School is seeking a dedicated teacher with a strong SEND focus to lead targeted provision and enhance learning for pupils requiring additional support. The role includes delivering intervention programmes and coordinating pupil learning plans within a collaborative school environment.

You will work closely with the SENCO and leadership to implement EHCP provisions, participate in annual reviews, and coach colleagues in inclusive practice. Teaching commitments up to 30% of timetable.

Salary - £32,916 - £45,352 + SEN Allowance (Teachers Mainscale 1-6 + SEN allowance).

About The Role

Working closely with the Assistant Principal for Inclusion/SENCO, you will:

• Lead and monitor targeted SEND provision.
• Coordinate intervention programmes and pupil learning plans.
• Support implementation of EHCP provision and annual reviews.
• Champion inclusive teaching and adaptive classroom practice.
• Deliver coaching, mentoring and SEND training for staff.
• Work collaboratively with families, external agencies and colleagues.
• Ensure students with SEND receive the support needed to thrive academically and personally.

This role includes a teaching commitment of up to 30% of a full timetable, providing targeted teaching and intervention programmes for students with additional needs.
