Job summary

St Anthony’s Catholic Primary Academy in Wolverhampton is seeking a Class Teacher with SENCo responsibilities. The successful candidate will deliver a specialist curriculum to around 12 high-needs pupils and coordinate a team of teaching assistants across the ARP, while contributing to the school’s Catholic ethos and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a specialist curriculum to a class of approximately 12 high needs pupils.
• Coordinate a team of teaching assistants within and beyond the ARP to support pupils.
• Support the design and development of the Additional Resource Provision.
• Contribute to the Catholic ethos of the Academy and meet welfare needs.
• Coordinate assessments, referrals and interventions for students with SEN and Disabilities, including ASD & ADHD.
• Work with multi-agency teams to identify and meet pupils' needs and promote inclusive practice.
