Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist post-16 provision in Cheltenham to appoint an SEN Tutor on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver personalised learning sessions, establish each student’s starting point and monitor progress for learners with complex needs such as Autism/ASD and other disabilities.

• A relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience supporting young people with SEND, complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Experience planning and delivering individualised learning activities.
• Understanding post-16 education and preparing young people for adulthood.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other professionals.
• Creative, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
