As an SEN Tutor, you'll provide individualised tuition designed around each learner's strengths, needs and EHCP outcomes. Some assignments may involve supporting one learner consistently until they transition into a suitable full-time educational setting, while other opportunities may involve working with multiple pupils. • Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals.

  • Monitor and record pupil progress, attendance and learning outcomes.

  • Provide consistent, nurturing support to learners who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.

  • A strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised intervention strategies.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.

  • The ability to build strong relationships with learners who may have experienced challenges within education.

  • A genuine passion for helping children and young people achieve their potential.
