Job summary

Bolton Academy is seeking a Teaching and Learning Assistant Level 2 + SEN (Secondary) to support learning for 11-16-year-olds. You will supervise groups, assist with individual learning needs and contribute to a calm classroom environment.

You will join a 3-16 all-age academy with strong CPD commitments, generous leave and a focus on wellbeing. Permanent contract, term-time plus one day, hours 30.25 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 11-16 in an education setting.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with pupils, parents and staff.
• Ability to build rapport and professional relationships quickly.
• Willingness to work flexibly to meet role demands.
• Demonstrates personal resilience and motivation to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Work with and supervise individuals and groups of students under staff guidance.
• Support target setting and enable access to learning for all students.
