Bolton St Catherine’s Academy invites applications for a Teaching and Learning Assistant Level 2 + SEN (Secondary). The role operates on a 30.25 hour week within a permanent contract, term time plus one day, with a stated salary band of £25,989 to £28,142 and extra SEN allowances.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 11-16 in education.
• Ability to build rapport with pupils, parents and staff.
• Flexible to meet role demands.

Responsibilities

• To work with and supervise individuals and groups of students under the direction/instruction of teaching staff, supporting learning access for all.
• Assisting in managing students’ behaviour using a range of strategies.
