Location: Rugby, Warwickshire Salary: competitive, dependent on experience Contract Type: Full-Time & Ad-Hoc Positions Available

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with SEN learners or early years children? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are a specialist SEN school based in Rugby, dedicated to providing high-quality education and support for children with a broad spectrum of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and profound learning difficulties. We are currently seeking full-time and ad-hoc SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEN needs, ensuring they can access learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Assist with classroom activities, personal care (where required), and social development.
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning plans.
  • Support children in developing communication, independence, and life skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes student well-being.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN or early years learners.
  • A passionate and patient approach to working with children with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training and development.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
