Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential? Do you have experience working with learners with complex needs or early years children? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are a specialist college based in Coventry, dedicated to providing high-quality education and tailored support for students aged 16-25 with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and profound learning difficulties. We are looking for full-time and ad-hoc Learning Support Assistants to join our committed team and help create an inclusive and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to students with diverse SEN needs, helping them engage with their learning and develop essential life skills.
  • Assist in delivering structured learning activities, vocational training, and independence-building programs.
  • Work collaboratively with tutors, therapists, and support staff to implement personalized learning plans.
  • Support students in developing communication, social, and employability skills.
  • Encourage confidence, self-advocacy, and independence in a nurturing environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting young people with SEN or early years learners.
  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to working with students with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to promoting independence and preparing students for adulthood.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
