Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Lewes area from September. You will support pupils in either KS1 or KS2, focusing on behavioural and emotional needs to help them thrive.

The role involves 1:1 and small group work, building confidence and resilience, and implementing calm, consistent behaviour strategies within an inclusive classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural needs.
• DBS check required or willingness to apply for one.
• Ability to work with primary-aged children in KS1 or KS2.
• Good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support within KS1 or KS2
• Help pupils build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships
