SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist School in Bexley We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team at a specialist school in Bexley.

Role Overview As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support students with a variety of learning needs, helping them fully engage with their education and develop important life skills.

Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that every student gets the individualized support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.

Assist in delivering customized lessons to help students access the curriculum effectively.

Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting independence and confidence.

Contribute to creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other specialists to implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Track student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and other professionals.

Assist in organizing classroom resources and setting up learning materials for lessons.
