Job summary

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate and reliable Teaching Assistants to work in specialist SEN/SEMH schools across the Forest area. This full-time role runs 8:30am-4:30pm with a pay rate of £14.75 per hour, offering consistent work in supportive settings with small class sizes.

You'll work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to deliver individually-tailored learning activities and behavioural support, with CPD training and career progression opportunities through Teaching

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people is essential.
• Experience in SEN and/or SEMH is highly desirable.
• Reliable, resilient, and confident in a classroom setting.
• Proactive and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN and SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation.
• Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs.
• Build positive relationships and support student development.
