Job summary

GSL Education in South Leicester is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in a secondary setting. You will work alongside teachers and SEN coordinators to provide tailored assistance to pupils with diverse learning needs, helping them build confidence and achieve academic goals.

Responsibilities include one-to-one support, small group interventions, and contributing to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs, preferably in a secondary school setting.
• Patience, empathy and a positive attitude towards supporting young people with additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
