Role: SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary

Location: Luton

Start Date: As soon as possible

GSL Education is looking to appoint experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for schools in Luton, starting as soon as possible. Candidates should have experience working with children, young people, or adults with special educational needs or in care settings.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistants:

• At least one year of SEN support experience in a school, childcare, or care setting
• Dedicated, motivated, and caring educator
• Ability to support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
• High levels of care and concern for children
• Skills and experience working with learners with ASC and SEMH
• Positive team player with good humour
• Commitment to raising attainment and progress
• Experience supporting SEN students on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Experience in assessing and reporting pupil progress

Applicants must have:

• Energy, patience, and classroom management skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education
• Two professional school-based references
