Edex is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant in Hounslow to support students with diverse needs.

Ideal for psychology graduates aiming to gain firsthand experience within education and collaborate with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and the school's SENCO. The role is during term time, 8:30–16:00, in mainstream classrooms with 1:1 support and pastoral mentoring. You will join a supportive inclusion team in a secondary setting.

Qualifications

• 1:1 support for students with SEN.
• Pastoral mentoring outside of lessons.
• Term-time only, 8:30–16:00 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide SEN support in mainstream classrooms.
• Collaborate with external professionals (SLT, OT, psychologists) as needed.
• Support a range of abilities and age groups within the school.
