SEN Teaching Assistant - Derby City Centre - September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive Primary School in the heart of Derby City Centre, currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with special educational needs

  • Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment

  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and contribute to the assessment of pupil progress

  • Support children with a range of needs, including communication difficulties, autism, ADHD, or learning delays

  • Help promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
