Teaching Assistant (SEND) - Primary School, Oldham

Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Oldham. This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children by providing vital support in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

About the Role:

Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Primary School in Oldham

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time and long-term

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting SEND children in the classroom and through tailored interventions.

Collaborating with teachers and other staff to meet individual learning plans.

Encouraging progress, independence, and confidence in students.

About You:

Essential Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Experience: Previous experience working with SEND children in a Primary School setting.

Personal Qualities: Patient, empathetic, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
