Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work with pupils across Doncaster primary schools. You’ll support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs, in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, one-to-one or small groups.

Expect clear routines, guidance from SENCOs, and opportunities to gain experience across different SEN settings. The role offers competitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE, with CPD Academy access and potential long-term placements for stability.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a UK primary school.
• Understanding strategies for behaviour, communication and emotional regulation.
• Calm, patient and confident in building trusting relationships.
• Able to adapt to individual needs while maintaining structure and routine.

Responsibilities

• SEN TA work in welcoming primary schools across Doncaster.
• Provide support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• One-to-one or small group support depending on needs.
• Follow routines and guidance from SENCOs and class teachers.
