Walgrave Primary School in Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will work 1:1 and contribute to small-team interventions, helping children participate in daily learning with adaptable teaching strategies.
The role requires building strong relationships with pupils, communicating with families and external professionals, and a readiness to undertake external training to enhance support for diverse needs.

Responsible to: Headteacher, SENDCo
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only. (8.45am - 3.15pm with half an hour lunch break)
Salary: Grade E salary point 4-5. Salary pro rata based on full time equivalent salary £25,185 - £25,583
Contract: Named child
Work 1:1 with pupils and as part of a small team to meet daily pupil needs. Support included in-class activities and targeted interventions to support pupils with a range of needs. Adapt practice to enable children to participate in everyday school life and engage with learning. Communicate effectively with parents, outside agencies and professionals as needed.
