Job Advert: SEN Teaching Assistant (Multiple Roles Available)
Location: Meldreth, Nr Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border
Salary: £12.37 - £13.49 per hour (£22,102.72 - £24,103.93 actual salary) depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for multiple exciting opportunities at a specialist independent day school located in Meldreth, near Royston, on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students aged 6 to 19 with a range of moderate to severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD), including those with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other associated challenges. You'll be working in a highly specialist learning environment, helping pupils manage sensory overload, anxiety, low self-esteem, and difficulties with transitions. Many of the students also have complex medical needs and sensory/physical impairments, requiring a thoughtful, compassionate, and individualised approach.
