Job summary

Aspire People in Derby are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special needs across diverse schools. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students with social and academic development.

The role requires patience, resilience, and strong teamwork to implement IEPs and promote inclusive learning. DBS update service is preferred; training and ongoing consultant support are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different school settings and pupil needs.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Aspire People).

Pay Rate: £105 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)
