Job summary

Engage Education is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Islington to support pupils with additional needs and help them access the curriculum. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, assist teachers with differentiated activities, and contribute to an inclusive classroom where every pupil can thrive.

DBS check will be provided; pay £95-£100 per day; full-time contract. We offer CPD training and ongoing support from a dedicated Engage consultant, with opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting.
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred.
• Patience, adaptability and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum.
• Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions.
• Help create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme.
