Penygaer CP School in Llanelli is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support pupils with ASD, assisting with learning, personal care and implementing individual programmes.

The role is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, initially for one year with potential for a permanent position based on performance.

A current enhanced DBS check is required; Welsh language Level 1 is expected, and the post offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Welsh language level - verbal (Level 1) is required with support provided to reach this level.
• An Enhanced DBS check (Barred List) will be requested before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning needs and personal care.
• Implement individual programmes to support health, hygiene, mobility and welfare.
• Support pupils in social and educational activities to promote well-being and development.
