Job summary

West Kirby School and College is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our team. You will have proven experience in a classroom setting and 1:1 support, preferably with pupils who have special educational needs including ASD, learning difficulties and/or behavioural challenges.

We value patience, energy and enthusiasm and invite you to engage young people with significant complex needs through sports, the creative arts, outdoor activities and life skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a classroom environment.
• Experience providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs (SEN).
• Ability to engage pupils with ASD, learning difficulties and/or behavioural challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom activities and support pupils during lessons.
• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with special educational needs as required.
