Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Pay: From 90 per day (PAYE - no umbrella deductions)

Long Term Futures is working in partnership with a small, well-regarded secondary school in the Rubery area of Birmingham. With around 450 students on roll, the school offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where staff are committed to supporting every learner to succeed.
We are seeking a proactive and dependable SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team, working within mainstream classrooms to provide support for students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning or emotional challenges.
Providing targeted support for students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom
Supporting students' emotional regulation and social development
Working closely with class teachers to differentiate learning and ensure access to the curriculum
Monitoring progress and feeding back on individual student needs
Encouraging independence, resilience, and engagement in learning
Previous experience supporting young people with SEN in a school setting
A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude to daily challenges
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Patience, empathy, and a team-focused approach
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable, but not essential if you have the right experience and outlook
