Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Location - South Gloucestershire
Job Type: Supply / Temporary Basis

Pay - 90 per day (including Holiday pay)

SEN Expertise Required: Previous experience with SEN children or in similar educational settings is essential to provide the highest level of support.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver 1:1 and group support to students with a variety of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Assist teachers in planning and implementing tailored lessons that meet individual student needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student confidence, social interaction, and active engagement.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and school SENCo.
Support classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space.
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents, offering constructive feedback as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
A genuine passion for supporting SEN students and helping them achieve their potential.
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, adaptable approach to meeting student needs.
Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential, if already obtained classroom experience.
Flexible working schedule.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
