Job summary

Hill View Primary Academy seeks a Teaching Assistant to support SEND pupils and the year group. The role is part-time (20 hours per week) during term time, fixed-term until July 2027, with in-house training and external opportunities. A dedicated team environment and opportunities for professional development are offered.

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience with primary children, strong communication, and a flexible, collaborative approach to learning.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
• GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*-C) including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience with primary aged children and their families; SEND experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND pupils and assist across the year group.
• Contribute to daily learning activities and stimulate children's imaginations.
• Participate in in-house and external training to develop practice.
