Job summary

Engage Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a supportive primary school in Tower Hamlets. The role involves supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum and assisting teachers with differentiated activities.

Ideal candidates have SEN experience and Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred. You will work with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom and support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting.
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred.
• Patience, adaptability and a genuine passion for helping children reach potential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum.
• Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions.
• Help create an inclusive classroom where all pupils can thrive.
• Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs as part of SEN programme.
