Job summary

A dedicated educational organization is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets to support students with special educational needs. Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide focused assistance to students with SEMH needs.
  • Aid students across Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement support plans.

Skills

Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Understanding of SEN and safeguarding
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team
