Job summary

Maiden Erlegh Trust seeks a caring Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils at Great Hollands Primary School, Bracknell. You will work one-to-one and in small groups to foster an inclusive, engaging classroom where every pupil feels valued and supported.

The role is permanent and full-time (37 hours per week, term-time plus 5 INSET days). You’ll promote positive behaviour and adapt to a range of learning needs to ensure pupils’ wellbeing and progress.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate attitude toward students.
• Experience supporting learning and wellbeing in classroom settings.
• Ability to promote inclusion and positive behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to engage with teacher-led learning activities.
• Assist class teacher with planned programmes of work and activities.
• Observe and report on pupil progress to teachers.
