Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in the SA1 area of Swansea. The role suits candidates from education, care, youth work or related fields who wish to support learners with additional needs.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, in an established school setting, providing classroom support, behavioural guidance and resource adaptation to meet individual pupil needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, care, youth work, support work, coaching, or similar roles.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils with various learning needs in the classroom.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support when required.
• Assist the class teacher with learning activities and interventions.
• Adapt learning resources to meet individual pupil needs.
• Encourage engagement and participation throughout the school day.
