Yardleys School in Birmingham is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support individuals or small groups across the curriculum to help pupils access learning and progress.

Experience in a school setting, good numeracy and literacy, GCSE level or equivalent, and ICT knowledge are essential. Level 3 TA qualification is required; Level 2 can progress to Level 3 with training.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting students' learning in a school setting.
• Educated to GCSE level and have ICT knowledge.
• Level 3 TA qualification required for the Level 3 post.

Responsibilities

• Support activities of individuals or groups of children to participate in learning.
• Work across curriculum areas and liaise with teaching staff.
• Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
