Job summary

You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs, using PECS and Makaton where appropriate, in a well-resourced SEN hub that prioritises pupil outcomes and professional development.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with children with SEND, including autism and speech and language needs.
• Comfort using PECS, visual timetables and Makaton to support learning and engagement.
• Team player who collaborates with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support one-to-one and in small groups for students with SEND.
• Help students access learning and reach their full potential in an inclusive environment.
• Provide ongoing support and liaise with teaching staff to monitor progress.
