Team Educate is seeking Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across South Bristol in mainstream and specialist settings.

We offer day-to-day supply and longer-term opportunities, allowing you to gain valuable experience while making a real difference for children with additional needs. Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support learning and development throughout the school day.

Formación

• Experience working with children or young people in education, care or similar settings.
• SEN/SEND awareness is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN and SEND.
• Support children with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Follow individual learning plans and behaviour support strategies.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and social development.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and pupil needs.
• Help create a safe, supportive learning environment.
