Aspire People are actively recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs across Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will work in mainstream settings with SEN hubs and specialist SEN schools, providing essential learning support and helping pupils access education.

Ideal candidates may have school-based experience, a caring and patient approach, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• Caring, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

Responsibilities

• Provide vital support to pupils with additional needs to access learning
• Help pupils build confidence and achieve their full potential
• Support inclusive practices in mainstream schools and SEN hubs/schools
