Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN in Maidenhead. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher to deliver tailored learning support and implement IEPs.

This full-time, term-time role offers flexible hours, ongoing professional development, and a supportive environment across partner schools in Maidenhead. DBS checks on update service are required or obtained through us, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEN in a school setting is preferred.
• Patient, empathetic and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• DBS check on update service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Work with the class teacher to deliver tailored support and interventions.
• Assist with implementing IEPs.
• Encourage participation and independence in the classroom.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support as required.
• Promote a positive and nurturing learning environment.
