Job summary

This full-time role focuses on children with disabilities, mobility needs, or behavioural challenges, providing personal care and learning support to enable independence.

You will work across SEMH and mainstream schools, with weekly pay, term-time hours, and a supportive team guiding you through registrations and placements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a social care worker, support worker, or in a residential care setting.
• Comfortable with personal care and supporting physical needs.
• Calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting children and young people.
• A good level of written and spoken English is essential.
• Passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with additional needs in lessons and around the school.
• Providing personal care and assistance with mobility, as required.
• Helping students stay focused and engaged in their learning.
• Promoting inclusion, independence, and emotional well-being.
• Working alongside teaching staff and therapists to deliver consistent support.
