Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Hazel room and support pupils with special needs across the primary curriculum. You will work 1:1 and in groups, helping learners stay engaged, prepare activities, and support behaviour and emotional development.

Excellent communication, reliability, and confidentiality are essential. You will collaborate with teachers and parents to tailor support and monitor progress, contributing to a positive learning

Responsibilities

• Identify pupils in vulnerable groups and provide 1:1 and group support
• Assist in Hazel room providing engagement and learning support
• Prepare classroom spaces and learning displays
• Support pupils to complete tasks and promote positive behaviour
• Provide emotional support to pupils and communicate issues to staff
