Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Northwich. The role starts in September 2026 and is full-time temporary with the potential to extend beyond Christmas 2026.

You will support pupils with SEN, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH, assisting the class teacher and promoting positive learning engagement in a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• Patient, empathetic and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN (ASC, ADHD, SEMH).
• Work one-to-one and in small groups to support learning.
• Assist class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons.
