Job Description:

Prospero Teaching are recruiting Teaching Assistants with previous experience supporting children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis.

We are working closely with an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ SEN school in Ashton, Tameside for students aged 11-16 with moderate and complex learning difficulties. Staff will be required to work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS –

• Location – Ashton, Tameside
• Position – Teaching Assistant
• Type of work – Classroom Support
• Duration/Likely Duration – Ongoing (long term supply)
• Position end date – July 2024
• Minimum rate of pay – £90+ per day
• Hours – – Monday – Friday (Term Time Only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS –

• Sports Coaching qualification
• Previous experience working/coaching children.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at the cost of £45
• Provide two professional references that cover the last 2 years employment/education
