Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Cheltenham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention sessions. The role covers classroom learning, school trips, and out-of-class activities during the full school day.

Qualifications

• Can offer previous Teaching Assistant experience or child based experience of a relevant age group.
• A knowledge or understanding of SEN needs in particular ASD.
• A confident approach to working with children
• An educational background
• An enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally
• Enhanced DBS Teaching Personnel can assist with this.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for the pupil during the school day.
• Deliver small intervention sessions to support SEN learning.
• Support classroom sessions, trips and out of classroom learning.
