An award-winning local school in Billingshurst is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support SEN learners. The role involves helping students aged 5-16 with various learning difficulties in a creative environment. Applicants should have a positive approach, resilience, and relevant experience with children. The position offers excellent pay rates, training, and career progression opportunities. This is a permanent, term-time role available Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30.
Qualifications
Relevant experience/knowledge of working with children or young people.
Direct SEN experience is not essential.
Responsibilities
Supporting KS1-KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis.
Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress.
