Job summary

Masterclass Education are recruiting for Teaching Assistant roles in SEN schools across the UK, including temporary and term-time placements. We provide CPD recognised online training such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness and Child Development.

No prior school experience is required, though it is preferred; transferable skills will be considered. Roles start as soon as possible and offer weekly pay and flexible options.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in schools not required, but preferred; transferable skills considered.

Responsibilities

• To support the children's progress across all areas of their development
• Support and encourage positive behaviour management
• Work with an individual (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons
• Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling pupils to feel relaxed and happy
• To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school
• To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be
• To be able to provide personal care if needed
