Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN in Luton-area schools from September for the academic year. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum and participate in classroom and targeted activities.

You will collaborate with the class teacher to ensure appropriate support is in place, with ongoing training opportunities and full guidance provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs).
• Ability to run activities with pupils outside the classroom.
• Comfortable supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups within a mainstream or SEN setting.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the classroom and in small group settings.
• Run engaging activities with pupils outside the classroom as needed.
• Work with the class teacher to ensure appropriate support is in place for pupils.
