Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN within schools in the Romford area. The role involves working 1:1 or in small groups and assisting with planned activities in the classroom and surrounding areas.

You will join a supportive team, with full guidance and opportunities for additional training. The position is full-time, with a competitive daily rate of 90–115 GBP depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in mainstream or SEN settings.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups within a classroom.
• Willingness to participate in training and development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN in the classroom and during activities outside the classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure appropriate support for each pupil.
• Contribute to planning and running targeted activities and interventions.
